Bergamot is a citrus fruit like a minature orange, which grows almost exclusively in Italy although some come from the Ivory Coast. Due to the easy almost affable odour it has great psychological benefits especially if used sparingly via a micronising diffuser. A remarkably good feel good oil which would offer something to floral, fruit and spice blends and is useful for specialists in perfumery, therapy and luxury, soap and candlestick makers.

Bergamot Properties : Antiseptic, bactericide; regenerative for hypothalamus; supports scar formation; stimulates appetite, febrifuge, vermifuge; skinbrowning.

Bergamot Indictations : Intestinal infections, colic, loss of appetite, intestinal parasites; insomnia, inner nervousness ; malaria; wounds, skin disorders, psoriasis.

Bergamot Main Components: l-linayl acetate, d-limonene, bergaptene, nerol, citrale.
